Camair-co has cancelled it’s flight from Yaounde Nsimalen international airport to Paris Charles de Gaulle today 11/3/2015 because the company supplying fuel refused to provide fuel insisting that the national airline
pays before they can supply.Reports says the fuel supplier adopted this method as a means to stop Camair-co’s unpaid debts swelling. It should be noted that Camair-co presently owes almost all of its partners including ADC.
This current situation adds to the tension that exist within Camair-co as staffs whose salaries are currently in arias by a month feel gutted .
In an interview with Cameroon Tribune the DG of Camair-co Nana Sandjo who expects the Dja which has been in Ethiopia since November 2015 should be back in Cameroon Before the end of this month explained that all was rossy in his company.he subject that the two MA60 grounded in Douala was because of construction works currently going on in Douala airport.A point which is very questionable as both planes were parked long before works started in Douala because of lack of parts to repair them.At a time when his state airline company is financially drainage it shouldn’t be the best decision ground planes which could well serve other airports of The Republic.
About the service to Bafoussam airport which was announced just after the inaugural flights of MA60 aircraft, Nana Sandjo thinks it has not commenced because of  lack of qualified crew. All five pilots sent to China for training before the inauguration of the MA60 all failed. The strange failure by Chinese we understand is because they do not want the MA60 to fly for any reason as even they are concerned about its current safety records which has made it impossible to get an insurance for both Chinese made planes type MA60.
