USDP Calls For 20th May Boycott
The national Youthful
President of the USDP party Prince Ekosso has joined the SDF by calling
on his party militants accross both Cameroons to boycott 20th May
celebrations. This development is coming at a time after the Cameroon
Anglophone Civil Society Consortium President Dr. Agbor Nkongho Balla,
Mr. Tassang Wilfred, programme coordinator and SG, Dr. Fontem Neba had
on January 1st called on Southern Cameroonians to boycott the so called
National Day celebrations as it represents a falsehood on our history.
The USDP had previously been engaging in "Youth Day" and " National
Day" celebrations. BaretaNews welcomes this recent development from both
the SDF and USDP in recognising the strength of the struggle and
standing with the current crisis in their own way. While we maintain
that 20th May shall never be celebrated in our land again, we are
watchful what parties like PAP of detained Ayah Paul, CPP of Kah Walla
and ADF of Ben Muna, all bonafide Southern Cameroonians will do in
regard to this fake national day. However, inside sources from PAP
indicates to BaretaNews a communique may come in the hours ahead asking
her militants to stay off 20th May.

Usdp appels pour le 20 mai boycott.
Le Président National de la jeunesse du parti usdp prince ekosso a rejoint le sdf en appelant les militants de son parti au-dessus du territoire national pour boycotter le 20 mai. Ce développement se fait à un moment après le président du consortium de la société civile anglophone du Cameroun, m. Agbor Nkongho Balla, m. Tasang Wilfred, coordonnateur du programme et SG, m. Fontem Néba, le 1 janvier 1, a appelé les camerounais du sud à boycotter la journée Les célébrations, c'est un mensonge sur notre histoire.
Les Usdp avaient déjà participé à des célébrations de " jour de la jeunesse " et de " Journée nationale Baretanews se félicite de cette évolution récente de la part de la SDF et de la usdp pour reconnaître la force de la lutte et se tenir à la crise actuelle. Si nous maintenons que le 20 mai ne sera jamais célébré dans notre terre, nous sommes attentifs à ce que les parties comme le pap d'arrêté détenus Paul, le CPP DE KAH WALLA ET LE ADF DE BEN MUNA, tous les camerounais du sud de la indemnités feront en ce qui concerne cette Une fausse journée nationale. Cependant, à l'intérieur des sources de pap indiquent à baretanews un communiqué peut venir dans les heures à venir demander à ses militants de rester au 20 mai.
